Published more than 300 papers and has been extensively involved as a process consultant in industrial research programs with metallurgical companies. Has participated in more than 20 US patents for work in the areas of pressure leaching, ion exchange, removal of impurities from process solutions, use of thiosulfate as an alternative to cyanide in gold leaching, leach-electrolysis treatment of copper recovery from sulfide ores, and the Sepon copper process for copper recovery from sulfidic-clayey ores. Serves as a director of Search Minerals Inc., and LeadFX Inc., and vice president of metallurgy/process for Camrova Resources, Inc., and Search Minerals Inc.
